Jobel is an app and recruitment service designed specifically for young people entering the job market. The project was created as a response to common frustrations associated with the recruitment process: lack of feedback, hidden salary ranges, unclear responsibilities, and the prevalence of junk contracts.
App & Main Features
The application acts as a strict employer selector. It only publishes verified job offers that guarantee transparent salary ranges, mandatory candidate feedback, and a contract type appropriate for the job.
There is alsa a dedicated section supporting candidates taking their first steps. It offers curated courses (e.g., HR, basic programming) and guide articles (e.g., how to avoid resume mistakes), helping users navigate and find their own career path.
Quick Shots
A module allowing for a lightning-fast assessment of an employer's profile. We ditched idealized, stock photos in favor of authenticity, companies post real, unposed photos taken straight from the workplace. Profiles are supplemented with direct information tags, highlighting positives like "Dog friendly" or "Good pay", but also transparent warnings like "No dogs allowed" or "Overtime!".
Gen Z Visual Language
The color palette of the app and campaign is a deliberate aesthetic choice. We based it on a shade of "GenZ Green" and purple — the new equivalent of "millennial pink". Purple in our visual identity embodies creativity, originality, and the rebellious attitude of the youngest generation in the job market.
To make the brand more relatable and authentic, we developed a brand hero. The main mascot - a laid-back light bulb wearing a signature beanie embodies the slightly ironic, realistic vibe of Gen Z navigating the job market. These expressive characters are the core of our visual storytelling, appearing seamlessly across the app interface, outdoor campaigns, and physical merch.
