Clovent is a conceptual clothing brand that bridges the gap between modern streetwear and functional workwear. The brand's DNA is a tribute to craftsmanship designed specifically for creators, makers, and people who love working with their hands, constructing, and experimenting.
The visual identity is deeply rooted in my own family’s heritage of physical work and artistry. For generations, my family has been dedicated to various crafts: from a great-grandfather's bicycle shop and a grandfather's locksmithing, to my mother restoring furniture, my brother studying monument conservation, and my father's stained-glass studio.
Naming and logo
The name "Clovent" merges "Clover" with "Invent" (while subtly referencing a "vent" or valve). The logo is a direct homage to a four-leaf clover emblem found on my great-grandfather's vintage bicycle bells and a stained-glass skylight in our family tenement house.
Pattern Design & Apparel
The textile patterns are built upon simple, geometric forms that weave a consistent visual narrative. Minimalist representations of traditional tools, gears, and keys pay homage to classic professions, adding a layer of storytelling to the durable workwear jackets and overalls.
